This club has been set up by Julian Lee Ritchie, a 5th Dan Black Belt instructor who has been involved with martial arts for over 20 years, and decided to set up a club  after 8 years at the age of 22 in 1993. Julian Lee has took part in two different titles in the Wuma World Championships in 2006 and has won 3rd place under the title of 'Under 80 kilos' and 1st place in 'Masters division'.

Kickboxing will give you an over all body workout; physically and mentally.  According to a study by the ACE, you can burn anywhere from 350 to 450 calories an hour with kickboxing! Kickboxing also reduces and relieves stress. Its rigorous workout - controlled punching and kicking movements carried out with the discipline and skills required for martial arts - can do wonders for feelings of frustration and anger. Practicing kickboxing moves can also help to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. Kickboxing is also a great way to get a total body workout while learning simple self-defense moves. Kickboxing fans say the sport helps them to feel more empowered and confident.

Lessons are held every Monday and Thursday between 7:00pm and 8:30pm at the Antonio Bosio School Gzira Malta.
